Four things we kept being asked, built into tools instead of another article. They are free, there is no sign-up, and nothing is emailed to you. Two of them will happily tell you that you do not need to buy anything.

Four questions about your machine, water and household. If the right answer for you is a bulk powder rather than anything we sell, it says so.

Stiff towels and white marks on dark clothes are usually one problem, not several. Check your city, or run a two-minute test with a bottle and some soap.
Check your water →Care Label Decoder
Every washing, bleaching, drying and ironing symbol, explained in plain language. Tap any one of the twenty to see what it actually means in practice.

Each of these started as a question we were asked more than once, and each has an answer that is genuinely hard to look up. Turmeric is the clearest example: the standard advice — rub it with soap — makes a haldi stain visibly worse, because curcumin turns red in alkaline conditions. That is a two-sentence explanation that almost nobody has, and knowing it changes what you do in the first thirty seconds, which is when the outcome is decided.
Hard water is the same shape of problem. Most of Pakistan has hard to very hard water, and it produces four separate-looking complaints — stiff fabric, white marks, fading, a musty smell — that people try to fix with four different products when they have one cause. The fix that works best is an extra rinse cycle, which costs nothing and is not sold by anybody.
The detergent finder will recommend a bulk washing powder if you tell it that cost per wash is what matters most, because powder genuinely wins on cost and pretending otherwise would be a lie you could check in any shop. The hard water checker leads with an extra rinse, not with a product. We would rather be useful than be a brochure — a recommendation you cannot trust is worth nothing to either of us.
What these tools do with your data
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no email field and no results-by-email step. The tools run entirely in your browser — your city, your stain, your answers are never sent anywhere and are gone when you close the tab. There is no account to create because there is nothing to store.
